NEW MEMBERS JOIN K-STATE'S CHAPTER OF KAPPA OMICRON NU

MANHATTAN -- An honor society that recognizes outstanding students in human ecology has new members at Kansas State University.

Kappa Omicron Nu recognizes excellence in leadership, research and scholarship. Undergraduate and graduate students who have demonstrated integrity, high standards of scholarship and the promise of future achievement are invited to join K-State's chapter of Kappa Omicron Nu.

Undergraduate students must have completed 45 semester hours and have a minimum grade point average of at least 3.5. Graduate students must have completed 15 semester hours of graduate work and have a minimum grade point average of 3.7.

New members of Kappa Omicron Nu at K-State include:

Karen Elliott, junior in hospitality management and business management, Abilene; Alyssa Dietterich, senior in communication sciences and disorders, and Meagan Stauffer, sophomore in communication sciences and disorders, both from Andover; Melissa Short, sophomore in public health nutrition and dietetics, Auburn; Trista Hynek, senior in communication sciences and disorders, Bremen; Whitney Bachman, sophomore in apparel marketing, Centralia; Caitlin Adams, junior in dietetics, Council Grove.
