STUDENTS PERFORMING, SPEAKING AT K-STATE COMMENCEMENT CEREMONIES

MANHATTAN -- Students are bringing their talents to commencement ceremonies Friday, Dec. 7, and Saturday, Dec. 8, at Kansas State University. Students are providing music and presenting speeches.

They include:

Sarah Priest, senior in music education, Emporia, will sing the national anthem for the College of Education.

Bryan Pinkall, graduate student in music, Great Bend, will sing the national anthem for the Graduate School.

Michael Albrecht, senior in microbiology, Herington, will play the processional and recessional for the College of Agriculture and the College of Engineering.

Laura Romig, sophomore in dietetics, Leavenworth, will play the processional and recessional for the College of Education and the College of Business Administration.

Patricia Rodriguez, December 2007 bachelor's candidate in agribusiness, Liberal, will deliver the reflections address for the College of Agriculture.

Erin Shea Larson, December 2007 bachelor's candidate in communication sciences and disorders, Scandia, will present the reflections address at the College of Human Ecology ceremony.

Douglas Zerr, senior in technology management, Salina, will deliver the student address for K-State at Salina.

Cassandra Freyermuth, senior in applied music, Shawnee, will sing the national anthem for the College of Human Ecology.

Janie Anthony, December 2007 bachelor's candidate in music education, Sterling, will sing the national anthem for the College of Arts and Sciences.
