COMMENCEMENT
STUDENTS PERFORMING, SPEAKING AT K-STATE COMMENCEMENT CEREMONIES
MANHATTAN -- Students are bringing their talents to commencement
ceremonies Friday, Dec. 8, and Saturday, Dec. 9, at Kansas State
University. Students providing music, presenting speeches or performing
other special duties include:
Sarah
Jane Kuhn, senior in communication sciences and disorders, Admire,
will present the reflections address at the College of Human Ecology
ceremony.
Daniel
Mick, senior in fisheries and wildlife biology, Derby, is
a member of Cadence, the group singing the national anthem at the
College of Agriculture ceremony.
Zach
Corpus, junior in music education, Dodge City, is
a member of the K-State Student Brass Quintet that will perform
the processional and recessional at the College of Human Ecology
and Graduate School ceremonies.
Kurt
Krupp, junior in mass communications, Ellsworth, is a member
of Cadence, the group singing the national anthem at the College
of Agriculture ceremony.
Sarah
Priest, junior in music education, Emporia, will sing the
national anthem at the College of Education ceremony.
Amanda
York, senior in education-modern languages, Garden City,
will present the reflections address at the College of Education
ceremony.
Michael
Albrecht, senior in microbiology, Herington, will be the
organist for the processional and recessional at ceremonies for
the College of Education and the College of Business Administration.
Ryan
Flickner, senior in agronomy, Manhattan, will present the
reflections address at the College of Agriculture ceremony.
Jay
Peters, senior in applied music, Manhattan, will sing the
national anthem at ceremonies for the Graduate School and College
of Arts and Sciences.
Ed
Stein, graduate student in music, Manhattan, is a member
of the K-State Student Brass Quintet that will perform the processional
and recessional at the College of Human Ecology and Graduate School
ceremonies.
Sharyn
Worcester, graduate student in music, Manhattan, is a member
of the K-State Student Brass Quintet that will perform the processional
and recessional at ceremonies for the College of Human Ecology and
the Graduate School.
Jeff
Franzen, senior in electrical engineering, Newton, is a member
of Cadence, the group singing the national anthem at the College
of Agriculture ceremony.
Chris
Glover, freshman in pre-journalism and mass communications, Olathe,
is a member of Cadence, the group singing the national anthem at
the College of Agriculture ceremony.
Grant Groene, senior in agronomy, Ottawa, will present the
graduate address at the College of Agriculture ceremony.
Tyler
Geisler, freshman in pre-construction science and management, and
Evan Nichols, freshman in arts and sciences-open option, both of
Overland Park, are members of Cadence, the group singing
the national anthem at the College of Agriculture ceremony.
Grant
Haley, sophomore in arts and sciences-open option, Paola,
is a member of Cadence, the group singing the national anthem at
the College of Agriculture ceremony.
Janie
Anthony, senior in music education, Sterling, will sing the
national anthem and K-State alma mater at the College of Human Ecology
ceremony.
Charlotte
Sylvester, senior in applied music, Wamego, will be the organist
for the processional and recessional at ceremonies for the College
of Engineering and College of Agriculture.
Bryan
Meyer, junior in animal sciences and industry, Wichita, is
a member of Cadence, the group singing the national anthem at the
College of Agriculture ceremony.
Lauren
Richardson, junior in professional pilot, Wichita, will be
the student marshal at commencement for K-State at Salina.

Brassill, senior in management, Omaha, Neb., will present
the student remarks at the College of Business Administration ceremony.
Andrew
Feyes, graduate student in music, Oregon, Ohio, is a member
of the K-State Student Brass Quintet that will perform the processional
and recessional at ceremonies for the Graduate School and College
of Human Ecology.
Gavin
Smith, graduate student in music, Portland, Texas, is a member
of the K-State Student Brass Quintet that will perform the processional
and recessional at ceremonies for the Graduate School and the College
of Human Ecology.
