K-STATE
PSYCHOLOGY STUDENTS AUTHOR PAPER, PRESENT WORK AT PAVLOVIAN SOCIETY
ANNUAL MEETING
MANHATTAN
-- A paper, "Effects of Rearing Environment on Pavlovian Conditioned
Hyperactivity" co-authored by several psychology students from
Kansas State University was presented at the recent Pavlovian Society
annual meeting in Philadelphia, Pa.
K-State
students who were co-authors of the paper include:
Julie-Renee
Kabriel, graduate student in psychology, and Michael Parrish, senior
in psychology, both of Manhattan; and Adam Steiner, senior
in psychology, Wichita.
From
out-of-state: Rosemary Ha, graduate student in psychology, Ratcliff,
Ky. Ha presented the paper at the annual meeting.
The
purpose of the research was to determine if Pavlovian-conditioned
drug cues contribute to relapse following recovery.
