TAKING MEAT ORDERS FOR THANKSGIVING, WINTER HOLIDAYS
MANHATTAN -- Whether it's a houseful of friends and family to feed
or a unique food gift idea, Kansas State University can help with
specialty meats, gift boxes and gift certificates from it's meat
lab.
Products
from K-State's Meat Lab can now be purchased at the renovated Dairy
Bar at Call Hall, open 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. Items
for sale include hickory-smoked turkey, hickory-smoked boneless
ham, summer sausage, Lebanon style bologna and Wildkat loaf, as
well as other beef, lamb, pork, cheese and dairy products.
Thanksgiving
orders are due by Friday, Nov. 10. Items may be picked up between
Wednesday, Nov. 15, and Tuesday, Nov. 21, at the Dairy Bar. Orders
for Christmas and other winter holidays are due by Friday, Dec.
1. Items may be picked up at the Dairy Bar between Wednesday, Dec.
6, and Wednesday, Dec. 20. Payment should be when order is picked
up.
