COX
CABLE VIEWERS IN MANHATTAN AND JUNCTION CITY HAVE SEVERAL OPPORTUNITIES
TO WATCH K-STATE LANDON LECTURE BY DONALD RUMSFELD
MANHATTAN
-- Cox Cable subscribers in Manhattan, Junction City, Ogden and
surrounding area can watch Donald Rumsfeld's Landon Lecture at Kansas
State University live or catch a playback later in the day and week,
thanks to K-State's Kansas Regents Educational Communications Center.
The
lecture by the U.S. secretary of defense will be carried live at
11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 9, on Cox Cable's Channel 8, KTS8, in Manhattan
and Junction City. It will be rebroadcast later that day at 5 and
10:30 p.m. It also will be shown on Channel 8 at 7:30 p.m. Friday,
Nov. 10, and 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11.
K-State's
Regents Educational Communications Center, in Dole Hall, is covering
the lecture for the television broadcast.
KST8
is a noncommercial cable television station licensed by Cox Communications
and owned and operated by K-State and the Kansas Regents Educational
Communications Center. It broadcasts 24 hours a day, airing the
Classic Arts Channel during the day and university-related programming
in the evenings.
