K-STATE COMMENCEMENT

K-STATE STUDENTS LEND THEIR TALENTS TO SPRING COMMENCEMENT CEREMONIES

MANHATTAN -- Several Kansas State University students have special roles as vocalists, musicians or speakers at the university's upcoming spring commencement ceremonies. The students include:

Timothy Sperfslage, senior in mechanical engineering, Goff, will be a member of a group singing the national anthem for the College of Engineering commencement ceremony May 16 in Bramlage Coliseum.

Charles Pyles Jr., senior in civil engineering, El Dorado, will be a member of a group singing the national anthem for the College of Engineering commencement ceremony May 16 in Bramlage.

Amanda Jolly, senior in music and music education, Goodland, will sing the national anthem at commencement for the College of Arts and Sciences, May 16, in Bramlage Coliseum.

Julianne Radar, graduate student in landscape architecture, Leawood, will give a student address at commencement for the College of Architecture, Planning and Design, May 16, in McCain Auditorium.

Kyle Landau, junior in business administration, Leawood, will sing the national anthem at commencement for the College of Business Administration, May 16, in Bramlage Coliseum.

Laura Romig, senior in dietetics, Leavenworth, will play the processional and recessional at commencements for the colleges of Business Administration and Human Ecology, both May 16 in Bramlage Coliseum.

Jose Uriel Estrada, senior in secondary education, Liberal, will deliver the reflections address for the College of Education at commencement May 16 in Bramlage Coliseum.

Dustin Furrey, senior in family studies and human services, Manhattan, is the student speaker for the College of Human Ecology commencement ceremony May 16 in Bramlage Coliseum.

Bryan Pinkall, graduate student in music, Manhattan, will sing the national anthem and alma mater at commencement for the College of Human Ecology, May 16, in Bramlage Coliseum.

Mai Shibahara, graduate student in music, Manhattan, will sing the national anthem at commencement for the Graduate School commencement ceremony, May 15, and the College of Education commencement ceremony, May 16, both in Bramlage Coliseum.

John Bergin, senior in agricultural education, Meriden, will deliver the reflections address at commencement for the College of Agriculture, May 16, in Bramlage Coliseum.

Blake Brosa, senior in construction science and management, Ozawkie, will be the student speaker for the College of Engineering commencement ceremony May 16 in Bramlage Coliseum.

Justin Geist, senior in computer science, Plevna, will be part of a group singing the national anthem at the College of Engineering commencement ceremony May 16 in Bramlage.

Stacy Griffin, graduate student in interior architecture and product design, Stilwell, will sing the national anthem at commencement for the College of Architecture, Planning and Design, May 16, in McCain Auditorium.

Ashley Giroux, graduate student in interior architecture and product design, Topeka, will give a student address at commencement for the College of Architecture, Planning and Design, May 16, in McCain Auditorium.

Stephanie Dikeman-Watts, graduate student in regional and community planning, Topeka, will give a student address at commencement for the College of Architecture, Planning and Design, May 16, in McCain Auditorium.

Careem Gladney, senior in finance, Wichita, will deliver the student address for the College of Business Administration's commencement ceremony May 16 in Bramlage Coliseum.

Rebecca Farha, senior in animal sciences and industry, Yates Center, will sing the national anthem for the College of Agriculture's commencement ceremony May 16 in Bramlage Coliseum.

From out of state:

Mary Orefice, fourth-year veterinary medicine student, Harwinton, Conn., will deliver the reflections address for the College of Veterinary Medicine's commencement ceremony May 15 in McCain Auditorium.

Brian Koester, senior in professional pilot, Ankeny, Iowa, will deliver the student address and act as student marshal for K-State at Salina's commencement ceremony May 9 at the Highway Patrol Training Academy in Salina.

Kevin Wade, graduate student in architecture, Independence, Mo., will give a student address at commencement for the College of Architecture, Planning and Design, May 16, in McCain Auditorium.

Andrew Stickel, senior in agricultural economics and animal sciences and industry, Bowling Green, Ohio, will deliver the graduate address at commencement for the College of Agriculture, May 16, in Bramlage Coliseum.
