K-STATE STUDENT HOMECOMING COMMITTEE MEMBERS HELP K-STATE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION WITH 2007 HOMECOMING ACTIVITIES
MANHATTAN -- Kansas State University's 2007 Student Homecoming Committee includes 16 new members and nine returning members. K-State's Homecoming Week will be Oct. 21-27, with this year's homecoming football game Saturday, Oct. 27, against Baylor University Saturday at Bill Snyder Family Stadium.
The new members were selected by an application process. The committee also includes seven appointed positions: the two K-State Student Ambassadors; two Greek Affairs representatives; a Jardine Terrace Apartments representative; and two representatives from the Association of Residence Halls. The Jardine and residence hall representatives will be selected later.
The Student Homecoming Committee is responsible for selecting and planning all homecoming events. The committee creates the rules and guidelines for the student competitions, promotes the week and provides staffing for all events.
"The committee has already started working on this year's homecoming activities," said Andrea Bryant Gladin, associate director of alumni programs for the K-State Alumni Association and all-university homecoming chair. "These students were selected because they are such a motivated and creative group of individuals."
