K-STATE
STUDENTS ELECT STUDENT BODY PRESIDENT, VICE PRESIDENT FOR MANHATTAN
CAMPUS
MANHATTAN
-- In online voting March 6 and 7, students at Kansas State University's
Manhattan campus chose Matt Wagner, senior in management information
systems, El Dorado, as their student body president and Lydia
Peele, senior in mathematics education, Olathe, as their
vice president.
Wagner
is a 2003 El Dorado High School graduate. Peele is a 2004 Olathe
North High School graduate.
Unofficial
results show Wagner and Peele having won narrowly over presidential
candidate Jim Mosimann, senior in political science, Lee's Summit,
Mo., and vice presidential candidate Nick Piper, senior in finance,
Shawnee. Mosimann is a 2004 Pembroke Hill School graduate.
Piper is a 2004 Shawnee Mission North High School graduate.
The
votes won't be certified until March 29. A complete list of K-State
