University student interested in a career in international public
health is K-State's 30th Harry S. Truman Scholarship winner. Jenna
Kennedy, Hoxie, senior in microbiology, natural resources and environmental
science, and premedicine, has been selected to receive the national
scholarship, which provides up to $30,000 for college students preparing
for a career in public service.

K-STATE STUDENTS WIN 2007 GOLDWATER SCHOLARSHIPS WORTH UP TO $15,000:
Kansas State University students Mike Reppert, Manhattan,
Emily Voigt, McPherson, and Jennifer Buseman, Overland
Park, are among 317 students nationally to win 2007 Barry
M. Goldwater Scholarships. They were selected on the basis of academic
merit from a field of 1,110 mathematics, science and engineering
students nominated by the faculties of their colleges and universities.
The scholarship provides up to $7,500 annually for a student's final
one or two years of undergraduate studies.

Wednesday after falling from a forklift box at the Jardine Apartment
Complex construction site at Kansas State University. A second worker

BEACH MUSEUM OF ART CLOSING TEMPORARILY WHILE IMPROVEMENTS MADE
TO ENTRYWAY; CHILDREN'S PROGRAMS CONTINUING AS SCHEDULED: The
Marianna Kistler Beach Museum of Art at Kansas State University
will be closed March 12 to April 3 while minor changes are made
to the museum's entryway. During that time, early childhood workshops
will continue as scheduled.
