K-STATE'S GREEK HONORARY, ORDER OF OMEGA, SELECTS NEW MEMBERS

MANHATTAN -- Leadership, academic excellence and a commitment to the Greek community at Kansas State University has earned several K-State students membership in the university's Greek honorary, Order of Omega.

Members of Order of Omega promote Greek strength, integrity, leadership and service to the university and the Manhattan community. Faculty advisers to the honorary are Tim Lindemuth, editor of the K-State Alumni Association's K-Stater magazine, and Alex Sune, a graduate assistant with K-State's new student services.

New Order of Omega members at K-State and their Greek affiliation include:

Jonathon Baier, junior in mechanical engineering, Abilene, Phi Gamma Delta; Taylor Kinney, junior in biology, Andover, Acacia; Jessica Glaser, junior in life sciences, Kappa Delta, and Christopher Jones, senior in biochemistry, microbiology and chemistry, Delta Sigma Phi, both from Derby; Kelsi Ball, junior in family studies and human services, Eureka, Alpha Chi Omega.

From Greater Kansas City: Rebecca Gentry, junior in architectural engineering, Kansas City, Mo., Alpha Chi Omega; Lora Joyce, junior in biochemistry and life sciences, Kappa Kappa Gamma, and Kelby Polfer, junior in apparel and textiles, Pi Beta Phi, both from Leawood; Kaitlin Chipman, junior in accounting, Olathe, Gamma Phi Beta; Kiley Huff, junior in elementary education, and Rachel Richardson, senior in mass communications, both Alpha Delta Pi and both from Overland Park; and Kyle Crow, senior in biology, Beta Theta Pi, and Stephanie Larson, sophomore in elementary education, Delta Delta Delta, both from Shawnee.
