K-STATE AT SALINA TO OFFER VIRTUAL WORLD SUMMER COMPUTER CAMP
Salina -- Registrations are still being accepted for a children's summer computer camp offered by Kansas State University at Salina.
K-State at Salina's Virtual World Computer Camp, for kids age 12-14, will be 7:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. July 14-16. The camp will allow participants to design a 3-D virtual world, explore K-State at Salina's department of engineering technology, learn computer programming through fun games, and discover the basics of computer animation using Alice Software.
Instructor is Troy Harding, associate professor of computer systems technology.
The enrollment deadline is Friday, June 20, and registration is limited. More information is available by contacting Heather Wagoner at 785-826-2917.
