CHILDREN'S DAY CAMP BEING OFFERED AT K-STATE AUG. 4-8

MANHATTAN -- Kansas State University's Community Health Institute is sponsoring a special day camp Aug. 4-8 for children in grades 4-6.

The second annual L.I.F.E. 4 Kids Day Camp will be 8-11 a.m. each day in K-State's Ahearn Field House. Children will receive a daily snack and a T-shirt.

"The camp is filled with games, theme days and lots of fun. It is a great way to expose children to a variety of activities, all while having fun and making new friends," said Karla Bruggeman, a research associate with K-State's Community Health Institute.
