K-STATE PSYCHOLOGY STUDENTS HAVE WORK PRESENTED AT NATIONAL MEETING

MANHATTAN -- Three graduate students in psychology at Kansas State University co-authored presentations and/or posters given at the recent 22nd annual meeting of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology in New York, N.Y., and the 19th annual Association for Psychological Sciences convention in Washington, D.C.

Michael Smith, May 2007 master's graduate in psychology, Manhattan, was co-author of the poster "Engagement Measures: Personality Correlates" presented at the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology meeting.

Andrew Wefald, graduate student, Manhattan, was a co-author of the presentation "Does Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES) Measure Engagement?" at the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology meeting. Wefald also presented the posters "Engagement Measures: Personality Correlates" and "Perceptions of Discriminatory Hiring Decisions" at the Association for Psychological Sciences convention.

Dianne Whitney, graduate student, Houston, Texas, was a co-author of the presentation "Does Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES) Measure Engagement?" presented at the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology meeting.
