CHILDREN'S DAY CAMP BEING OFFERED AT K-STATE AUG. 6-10
MANHATTAN -- Kansas State University's Community Health Institute is sponsoring a special day camp Aug. 6-10 for children in grades 4-6.
L.I.F.E 4 Kids Day Camp will be 8-11 a.m. each day in K-State's Ahearn Field House. The cost is only $10 for the week, which includes a T-shirt and daily snacks.
"The camp is filled with games, theme days and lots of fun. It is a great way to expose children to a variety of activities, all while having fun," said Karla Bruggeman, a graduate research assistant with K-State's Community Health Institute. Bruggeman is organizing the camp as part of her thesis work in kinesiology.
