K-STATE AGRI-INDUSTRY CAREER FAIR JAN. 27

MANHATTAN -- More than 55 businesses, agencies and organizations will be on campus Wednesday, Jan. 27, to discuss jobs and internships with Kansas State University students at the Agri-Industry Career Fair. The fair is from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the K-State Student Union's Ballroom.

The annual fair is sponsored by K-State’s career and employment services and the College of Agriculture.

Representatives from a wide range of agricultural sectors will be on hand to discuss opportunities in finance, communications, livestock, food production, research, animal health, agronomy and horticulture. Companies and agencies to be represented Bunge, Hills Pet Nutrition, U.S. Department of Agriculture, Heads Up Landscape Contractors, Western State Bank and more.

Students are encouraged to wear business casual attire and bring several copies of their resume.

K-State students involved in organizing the Agri-Industry Career Fair include Nichole Ely, senior in agricultural communications and journalism and animal sciences and industry, Inman; and Allison Smith, senior in management, Newton.
