K-STATE STUDENTS TO CONNECT WITH AGRICULTURAL COMPANIES AT AGRI-INDUSTRY CAREER FAIR

MANHATTAN -- Kansas State University students who attend the Agri-Industry Career Fair will have the chance to impress more than 60 companies offering potential internships and jobs.

The fair will be 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 28, in the K-State Student Union Ballroom.

Representatives from a variety of companies, including Cargill, JBS Five Rivers Cattle Feeding LLC, Kansas Bankers Association, Longwood Gardens and Osborn and Barr Communications and more, will be on hand to discuss opportunities in a wide range of agricultural sectors, including finance, communications, livestock, food production, research, agronomy and horticulture.

Students are encouraged to wear business casual attire and bring several copies of their resume.

The annual fair is sponsored by K-State's career and employment services and the College of Agriculture.

Students involved in organizing the Agri-Industry Career Fair are Caitlin Arnold, senior in marketing, Tyler Axman, senior in food science and industry, and Joy Whitney, doctoral student in counseling and student development, all of Manhattan.
