MEDIA
ARRANGEMENTS FOR K-STATE LANDON LECTURE BY PRINCE TURKI AL-FAISAL
LECTURER:
Prince Turki Al-Faisal will present Kansas State University's 147th
Landon Lecture at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 26, in McCain Auditorium.
CREDENTIALS:
Please bring your media credentials with you in case they are needed;
credentials must include a photo I.D.
NEWS
MEDIA PARKING: To reserve a parking space, call media relations
and marketing, 785-532-6415, or e-mail media@k-state.edu
by 5 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24. Only one parking space can be reserved
per media outlet. If you do not reserve a parking space, you can
use your K-State media parking pass to park in any faculty, staff,
student or general lot as space is available; parking in any reserved
or handicap space can result in a parking fine, wheel-locking or
towing of your vehicle. If you do not have a K-State media parking
pass, you must pick one up at the information booth on 17th Street
near the K-State Student Union. Please allow ample time for parking.
NEWS
MEDIA SEATING: Reserved seats for print media will be on the
right side of McCain Auditorium in the first few rows at the front
of the auditorium. A portion of the last row of McCain will be reserved
for electronic media. An audio distribution box will be available.
SATELLITE
FEED: There will be NO satellite feed of video and sound bites
from the lecture.
WEB
ACCESS: The lecture also can be heard live on the Web at http://www.k-state.edu/landon
MEDIA
AVAILABILITY/PHOTO OPPORTUNITY: A media availability and photo
opportunity with Prince Turki will be near the northwest lobby doors
of McCain shortly after the lecture. Media relations and marketing
staff members will direct you to the location.
