BUSINESSES
LOOKING FOR FUTURE EMPLOYEES, INTERNS AMONG K-STATE AGRICULTURE
STUDENTS AT AGRI-INDUSTRY CAREER FAIR JAN. 30
MANHATTAN
-- Representatives from more than 50 businesses, including Tyson,
Monsanto, Cargill and Hormel, will be at Kansas State University
to talk with students in K-State's College of Agriculture about
employment and internship opportunities.
The
Agri-Industry Career Fair will be 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday,
Jan. 30, in the K-State Student Union Ballroom. Employer representatives
will be on hand to discuss opportunities in all areas of agriculture,
including in the food industry, banking, finance, communications,
livestock, grain, research, agronomy and horticulture. Students
are encouraged to wear business casual attire and to bring plenty
of copies of their resumes. More information, including a complete

The
fair is sponsored by K-State's career and employment services and
the College of Agriculture. Students serving on the Agri-Industry
Career Fair committee include student leader Jessica Smith, junior
in animal sciences and industry, Conway, and graduate assistant
Jamie Hamor, graduate student in counseling and student development,
Manhattan.
