K-STATE OFFERING MULTICULTURAL PRIDE NIGHTS IN WICHITA, TOPEKA AND KANSAS CITY, KAN.
MANHATTAN -- Representatives from Kansas State University will visit Wichita, Topeka and Kansas City, Kan., to answer prospective Wildcats' questions about campus life, housing, the admissions process and opportunities for scholarships and other financial assistance.
Three "multicultural pride nights" are planned in February. High school students and their families will have the chance to talk to K-State's multicultural ambassadors as well as with experts on university admissions, financial assistance, and housing and dining options.
Attendees also will have the chance to win a free registration to Multicultural Pride Day or to one Junior Day event at K-State.

* 6:30-8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, at the Ford Rockwell Branch of the Wichita Public Library, 5939 E. 9th St., Wichita.
* 6:30-8:00 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, at Highland Park High School, 2424 S.E. California Ave., Topeka.
* 6:30-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26, at the main branch of the Kansas City, Kan., Public Library, 625 Minnesota Ave., Kansas City, Kan.
