K-STATE AT SALINA'S INTERSTATE 135/70 CAREER EXPO PROVIDES OPPORTUNITIES FOR EMPLOYERS

SALINA -- Kansas State University at Salina's seventh annual Interstate 135/70 Career Expo will be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27, in the K-State at Salina Recreation Center.

The career fair is organized by K-State at Salina's career and employment services in conjunction with Kansas Wesleyan University,

More than 35 businesses from across the region have are scheduled to attend, offering a variety of company material, giveaways, internships and full- and part-time opportunities to students.

The expo is specifically for employers seeking graduates and interns from a variety of majors at K-State at Salina and Kansas Wesleyan University.

"It is a great opportunity for companies to network with students and increase and enhance their image on a campus where they would like to hire graduates," said Lucy Kollhoff, K-State at Salina career services coordinator and Career Expo organizer.

To attend the Career Expo, employers must register and pay a $45 registration fee. To register and activate a free account, employers should go to http:// www.salina.k-state/careerservices and click the "Employers" link.

The account provides employers with valuable information and resources, such as access to student resumes, resume referrals and exposure to students.
