K-STATE'S EBONY THEATER TO PRESENT 'MUD, RIVER, STONE'
MANHATTAN -- Kansas State University's Ebony Theater will present the play "Mud, River, Stone" at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 21-23 in East Stadium's Purple Masque Theater.
The play, by Lynn Nottage, depicts an upper class African-American power couple, David and Sarah Bradley, who decide to make a pilgrimage to Africa. The play follows the couple as they encounter obstacles on their journey, including having car problems, the outbreak of the rainy season and being forced into a motel in the middle of nowhere where they are held captive.
Tickets are $5 for students and $8 for the general public and are available at the McCain Auditorium box office from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. Tickets also can be ordered by phone at 785-532-6428 during box office hours, or online at http://www.k-state.edu/theatre
