WEATHER FORCES JULIAN BOND TO CANCEL K-STATE TRIP

MANHATTAN -- Bad weather in Kansas and on the East Coast has prompted Julian Bond to cancel his planned Thursday appearance at Kansas State University.

K-State hopes to reschedule the lecture by the NAACP chairman, according to Myra Gordon, associate provost for diversity and dual career development. No time or date has been confirmed.
