STATE UNIVERSITY ANNOUNCES INVENTION TO VENTURE WORKSHOP
MANHATTAN
-- Kansas State University has been selected as a host of a
one-day workshop, Invention to Venture. The workshop will be 8 a.m.
to 4:45 p.m. Friday, April 13, in K-State's Fiedler Hall.
Backed
by the National Collegiate Inventors and Innovators Alliance and
the Kauffman Foundation, the event is one of a national series of
workshops for science and technology students and faculty. Initial
sponsors of the workshop are K-State's Office of the Provost, the
Advanced Manufacturing Institute and the National Institute for
Strategic Technology Acquisition and Commercialization.
The
national Invention to Venture series has been established to tap
the entrepreneurial ambitions of students and faculty on college
campuses across the United States. Participants discover how to
turn an idea into a new product venture and connect with local people
and programs that can help them turn their ideas into reality. The
workshop provides an exciting opportunity for participants to learn
technology entrepreneurship basics, build their networks and develop
plans for moving their ideas forward.
Workshop
topics include:

What is Technology Entrepreneurship/Is Technology Entrepreneurship
