K-STATE'S COLLEGE OF HUMAN ECOLOGY RECOGNIZES MULTICULTURAL STUDENTS

MANHATTAN -- Kansas State University's Students of Excellence, a human ecology student organization devoted to multicultural enrichment and professional development, honored several students at a recognition banquet Jan. 25.

Students of Excellence recognized students for their academic achievements and their service efforts within the College of Human Ecology. Student honorees are multicultural scholars in human ecology who are Human Ecology Multicultural Scholarship recipients, K-State Multicultural Student Honor Society inductees, Developing Scholars Program participants, Kansas Bridges to the Future participants and members of the College of Human Ecology Honors Program.

Students honored include:

Lacey Carlson, junior, family studies and human services, Cassoday, K-State Multicultural Student Honor Society inductee.

From Greater Kansas City: Lauren Bock, senior in apparel and textiles, Kansas City, Kan., K-State Multicultural Student Honor Society inductee; Whitney Brueggemann, sophomore in apparel and textiles, K-State Multicultural Student Honor Society inductee, and Danielle Hoskins, junior in early childhood education, Developing Scholars Program participant, both of Olathe; and Pratik Patel, junior in public health nutrition, Shawnee, K-State Multicultural Student Honor Society inductee.
