STUDENTS
WORKING BEHIND THE SCENES ON 'SHOW K-STATE,' A PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTING
CAMPUS
MANHATTAN
-- Some Kansas State University students are assisting with
a new television program about the university.
"Show
K-State" is a half-hour block of programming that made its
debut Jan. 29. The programming initially will showcase the arts
at K-State. Future programming will include such things as research,
technology and other activities at K-State. "Show K-State"
is shown on KST8, Cox Cable Channel 8, operated by the Educational
Communications Center at K-State and available to Cox Cable subscribers
in the Manhattan, Ogden and Junction City areas.
Students
involved in producing "Show K-State" who worked during
the fall 2006 semester to prepare for the inaugural programming
and those taking part during the spring semester include:
Tyler
Traxson, December 2006 bachelor's graduate in radio-TV, Cheney;
fall semester; Alyssa Williams, junior in art, Harper, fall
semester.
From
Hays: Chris Jordan, junior in social science, fall and spring
semesters; Brandon McAtee, junior in pre-journalism and mass communications,
spring semester; and Joe Musalek, freshman in pre-journalism and
mass communications, spring semester.
Kevin
Claypool, junior in radio-TV, Liberal, fall and spring semesters;
Jay Dillon, senior in radio-TV, fall semester, and Danielle Hallgren,
sophomore in arts and sciences-open option, fall semester, both
