K-STATE
COLLEGE OF ARCHITECTURE, PLANNING AND DESIGN OFFERING TWO DAYS OF
DESIGNEXPO
MANHATTAN
-- Kansas State University students seeking careers in the design
disciplines will get the chance to meet with prospective employers
at DesignExpo, the career fair of K-State's College of Architecture,
Planning and Design.
DesignExpo
will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Feb. 26, and 10 a.m. to 3
p.m. Friday, March 2. Both sessions will be in the ballroom of the
K-State Student Union.
Event
sponsors are the College of Architecture, Planning and Design and
K-State's career and employment services.
Employers
attending DesignExpo are offering full-time employment, as well
as summer and other internship opportunities. Employers also will
be available to visit with students who wish to learn more about
the disciplines of architecture, interior architecture and product
design, landscape architecture, and regional and community planning,
as well as other related design fields.
This
is the seventh year for DesignExpo. With 135 participating firms,
this year's event represents a 19 percent increase in the number
of firms from last year's record high of 113 firms.
