REMINDER
ABOUT DETAILS OF TICKET INFORMATION FOR K-STATE LANDON LECTURE BY
FORMER PRESIDENT BILL CLINTON
MANHATTAN
-- Due to a high level of interest in the Landon Lecture March
2 by former President Bill Clinton, Charles Reagan, chair of the
Landon Lecture series at Kansas State University, wants to remind
interested persons about the plans for ticket distribution.
The
148th Landon Lecture will begin at 3:30 p.m. Friday, March 2, in
Bramlage Coliseum. Admission is free, but a ticket will be required.
Doors to Bramlage will open at 2:30 p.m. and everyone must be seated
by 3:15 p.m.
K-State
students, faculty and staff may pick up their tickets 10 a.m. to
6 p.m. today, Wednesday, Feb. 21, and Thursday, Feb. 22, or until
the allotment is exhausted. Student tickets will be available on
the northeast side of Bramlage Coliseum. STUDENTS, FACULTY AND STAFF
MUST SHOW THEIR K-STATE ID TO PICK UP A TICKET and again to gain
entry to the lecture. EACH PERSON WILL BE LIMITED TO ONE TICKET.
All seats will be reserved so those wishing to sit together should
pick up their tickets together. Admission to the lecture itself
will require both the ticket and the K-State ID card.
Faculty
and staff tickets will be available on the northwest side of Bramlage.
K-State at Salina students and faculty-staff will receive an e-mail
when tickets are available to be picked up. An announcement will
be made at Fort Riley about ticket distribution.
ABOUT
500 TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR THE GENERAL PUBLIC FRIDAY, FEB.
23, BEGINNING AT 10 A.M. AT THE NORTHWEST TICKET WINDOWS AT BRAMLAGE
COLISEUM.
Landon
patrons will receive their tickets by mail. Patrons should use their
parking passes to park in a special section of the west parking
lot. The Landon patrons entrance is at the southwest doors of Bramlage
Coliseum. Once inside, patrons will be directed to floor seating
or to a special section at the top of Section 6.
Seating
is available for people with disabilities.
No
handbags, backpacks, brief cases, or bags of any kind will be permitted
inside Bramlage on the day of the lecture. Small still cameras will
be permitted. There will be no place to check bags.
