MEDIA INFORMATION FOR BILL CLINTON'S LANDON LECTURE
LECTURER:
Bill Clinton, former president of the United States, will present
Kansas State University's 148th Landon Lecture at 3:30 p.m. Friday,
March 2, in Bramlage Coliseum.
CREDENTIALS:
Apply for credentials by 5 p.m. TODAY. Please provide your full
name, media you represent, your job position, work phone number,
date and place of birth and mother's maiden name. Credential information
can be supplied by phone at 785-532-6415, e-mail to media@k-state.edu
or by fax to 785-532-6418. All credential requests must be made
by the deadline. Anyone without credentials will be denied entrance
to the photo pool/media seating area.
PARKING:
Bramlage parking lots will open at 2 p.m. Friday. Bramlage will
open at 2:30 p.m. Parking lot attendants will have the names of
media who have contacted media relations for credentials.
EQUIPMENT:
Media are permitted to bring cameras, bags, and other necessary
equipment. All bags are subject to search.
PICKING
UP CREDENTIALS: Credentials and media packets may be picked
up at the media table near the coliseum's southeast entrance. You
must present a photo ID to obtain your credentials.
NEWS
MEDIA PARKING AND BRAMLAGE ENTRY: Media parking will be in the
east Bramlage parking lot. No special parking permits will be needed.
All media must enter the southeast doors of Bramlage.
NEWS
MEDIA SEATING: Reserved seats for the media will be in sections
13-14. Admittance to this area will be by credential only. Electrical
outlets and an audio distribution box will be available. Wireless
Internet is available in the coliseum.
PHOTO
POOL: Photographers and TV crews must remain on the photo/video
platform in front of sections 13-14. President Clinton's staff prohibits
roaming from the designated area -- NO ROAMING will be allowed.
Dan Donnert, university photographer, will serve as the pool photographer.

FILE
ROOM: The Bramlage Media Room will be available for two hours
after the lecture for your convenience in preparing and filing news
stories. Phone lines will be available. Media relations staff members
will direct you. No refreshments will be available.
NO
MEDIA AVAILABILITY/NEWS CONFERENCE: Clinton will not be available
for a news conference or media availability.

TV: The lecture will be carried live at 3:30 p.m. Friday, March
2, on Cox Cable's Channel 8, KTS8, in Manhattan and Junction City.
It will be rebroadcast later that day at 7 p.m. and Saturday, March
3, at 9:30 a.m.
