STUDENT FROM PRATT IS COLLEGE OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION'S FALL
2006 OUTSTANDING SENIOR IN BUSINESS
MANHATTAN Audrey Ladenburger, a December 2006 bachelor's
candidate in accounting, Pratt, is the College of Business
Administration's Fall 2006 Outstanding Senior in Business at Kansas
State University.
Ladenburger
will be recognized at the college's commencement ceremony at noon
Saturday, Dec. 9, in Bramlage Coliseum. The Outstanding Senior in
Business Award is presented each semester to a graduating senior
who has made outstanding contributions to the College of Business
Administration. A student committee composed of representatives
from the Dean's Student Advisory Council selects the award recipient.
Ladenburger,
who was named to the National Dean's List and Who's Who Among College
Students, has served in leadership positions in numerous campus
and community organizations, including as the vice president of
Beta Alpha Psi, the accounting honorary society. She is a member
of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority and the National Society of Collegiate
Scholars.
"Audrey
has been a leader in K-State's College of Business Administration
since her freshman year," said Yar Ebadi, dean of the college.
"She has been a mentor and guide to her peers, directly contributing
to the quality of student life in the college."
Following
her graduation from K-State, Ladenburger will enroll in the master
of accountancy program at K-State. After completing the program,
she plans to take the Certified Public Accountant exam. She also
will serve a second internship with Koch Industries in summer 2007.
Ladenburger is the daughter of Kenton and Diane Ladenburger, Pratt,
and a 2003 graduate of Pratt High School.
