CREDENTIALS: Media members must apply for credentials by 5 p.m. Monday, April 28. Please provide your full name, media you represent, your job position, work phone number, mother's maiden name, and date and place of birth. Credential information can be supplied by phone at 785-532-6415, e-mail to media@k-state.edu or by fax to 785-532-6418. All credential requests must be made by the deadline. Media must have credentials to attend the lecture.

MEDIA SECURITY PROCEDURES: Information about any security procedures that media may have to follow, if it becomes necessary, will be announced later.

NEWS MEDIA SEATING: Seating for media will be reserved. A portion of the last row of McCain will be set aside for electronic media, where an audio distribution box will be available.

NEWS MEDIA PARKING: *NO* reserved parking spaces will be available due to construction of the parking garage by the K-State Student Union. The following are suggestions for parking at K-State:

* To park on campus, you must have a K-State media parking pass; if you do not have a parking pass, you must pick up one at the information booth on 17th Street near the K-State Student Union. The pass allows for parking in any nonreserved or nonhandicap student or faculty/staff parking space. Parking without a pass in a reserved or handicap space can result in a parking fine, the wheel-locking or the towing of your vehicle.

* A shuttle service is available to media, free of charge. To use the shuttle, park in the east Bramlage Coliseum lot, accessible off Kimball Avenue. You must have a K-State parking pass to park in the lot. Shuttles leave about every 10 minutes and take riders to the northwest side of the Union. Shuttle service will be available at the Union location after the lecture.

* Other suggested parking lots to try are at Anderson Avenue and 14th Street; North Manhattan Avenue and Vattier Street; and the West Memorial Stadium lot, accessible off Denison and Sunset avenues. Please allow ample time for parking. A K-State parking map is available in Adobe Acrobat PDF at:
http://www.k-state.edu/parking/maps.html and a campus map is available at http://www.k-state.edu/maps/

TELEVISION BROADCAST: The lecture can be seen live on K-State TV Channel 8, available on Cox Cable in Manhattan, Ogden and Junction City. A replay schedule is available at http://www.k-state.tv

WEB ACCESS: The lecture is available live on the Web at http://www.k-state.edu/landon
