K-STATE LECTURE BY COACH WOODEN CANCELLED

MANHATTAN -- The lecture at Kansas State University by Coach John Wooden scheduled for Wednesday, April 11, has been cancelled.

President Jon Wefald said he learned over the weekend that Wooden is not feeling well and will be unable to travel to K-State this week.

"Coach Wooden and his daughter, Nan, offer their deep regrets that he will be unable to come to K-State for his lecture on leadership," Wefald said.

At this time, there are no plans to reschedule.
