K-STATE'S KAPPA OMICRON NU HONOR SOCIETY INDUCTS SPRING MEMBERS

MANHATTAN -- Kansas State University's Kappa Omicron Nu honor society for human ecology students has inducted new members for the spring semester.

Kappa Omicron Nu is a national honor society that recognizes leadership, research and scholarship. Undergraduate and graduate students who demonstrate integrity, high standards of scholarship and the promise of future achievement are invited to join. Members must aspire toward the advancement of scholarship, personal and leadership development and maintenance of high standards.

New Kappa Omicron Nu members at K-State include:

Kirsten Regan, sophomore in family studies and human services, Great Bend; Stacy Lang, senior in interior design, Hays; Jocelyn Dufield, sophomore in apparel and textiles, Hugoton.

From Manhattan: Evangeline Griffith, senior in dietetics; Jessica Heath, junior in family studies and human services; Ryusuke Shitanda, sophomore in athletic training; and Morgan Thierer, sophomore in nutritional sciences.

Sarah Bever, sophomore in apparel and textiles, Overland Park; Danielle Cereola, sophomore in apparel design, Shawnee.

From Wichita: Cristina Brown, sophomore in apparel and textiles; Denise Dias, graduate student in apparel and textiles; and Kinley Pattinson, sophomore in apparel and textiles.

From out-of-state: Thomas Delaney II, graduate student in family studies and human services, El Dorado Hills, Calif.; Lisa Thiermann, junior in interior design, Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif.; Jamie Rasmussen, senior in dietetics, Fort Meade, Md.; Tess Pepmiller, sophomore in interior design, Chesterfield, Mo.; Lauren Trocchio, senior in dietetics, Rocky River, Ohio; Jamie Neal, senior in dietetics, Houston, Texas.
