K-STATE'S AG AMBASSADORS CHOOSE OFFICERS

MANHATTAN -- Kansas State University's Ag Ambassadors have selected 16 undergraduates to lead the student group's support of the College of Agriculture.

On and off campus, the Ag Ambassadors promote the college among prospective students, alumni and industry leaders. They also work with the college's faculty and students.

Ag Ambassador officers for 2007-2008 include:

Kyle Baker, sophomore in animal sciences and industry, career fair coordinator, and Cassie McMinn, junior in agribusiness, program co-coordinator for College of Agriculture training, both of Burden; Clint Blaes, senior in agricultural communications and journalism, Cherryvale, selections coordinator; Melissa Leander, senior in agricultural communications and journalism, Hiawatha, Ag Experience coordinator; Daniel Anderes, senior in agribusiness, Hope, president; Melissa Bigham, senior in agricultural economics, Meriden, vice president of communications; Andy Gigstad, sophomore in agricultural economics, Nortonville, diversity and international opportunities coordinator; Rebecca Sullivan, freshman in agricultural communications and journalism, Paola, program co-coordinator for College of Agriculture training; Dalton Henry, sophomore in agricultural economics, Randolph, vice president of development; Morgan Gauby, sophomore in agricultural economics, Washington, co-coordinator of recruitment, events and visits; and Phil White, senior in agricultural communications and journalism, Wellington, ag orientation co-coordinator.

Kindra Gradert, senior in animal sciences and industry, Cambridge, Ill., transfer recruitment coordinator; Shelby Haag, sophomore in agricultural communications and journalism, Bartley, Neb., activities coordinator; Cassie Benz, senior in animal sciences and industry, Beulah, N.D., ag orientation co-coordinator; Rebecca Tokach, sophomore in animal sciences and industry, St. Anthony, N.D., vice president of administration; and Kristen Schulte, sophomore in agricultural economics, Pemberville, Ohio, co-coordinator of recruitment, events and visits.
