TOM RAWSON
Vice president for administration and finance

 

Photo of Tom Rawson For more than 25 years, Tom Rawson has worked in higher education administration. As vice president for administration and finance at Kansas State University, Rawson supervises all financial operations, facilities planning and maintenance, information systems, university police, human resources, and environmental health and safety.

Before coming to K-State, Rawson served as the chief fiscal officer for the Lawrence campus of the University of Kansas for three years, and prior to that he spent more than 12 years working for the Kansas Board of Regents. Rawson received his bachelor's degree in science education and master's degrees in mathematics education and computer science, all from K-State. He completed his education at the University of New Mexico, receiving his doctorate in educational administration in 1975.
