ANIMAL SCIENCE AND INDUSTRY
John Unruh was elected to a three-year term on the American Meat Science Association board. He will also serve as chair of the 2012 Reciprocal Meat Conference.

Michael Babcock published "Transportation Impacts of Increased Ethanol Production: A Kansas Case Study," Journal of the Transportation Research Forum, Vol. 49, No. 2.

EDUCATION
Be Stoney has been selected as part of the 2010 class of the University of Texas at El Paso Athletics Hall of Fame that will be inducted Oct. 22.
