Mike Apley presented "Prescriptions and Drug Distribution: Who's in Charge?" and the clinical forum "How to Choose the Right Pharmaceutical," American Association of Bovine Practitioners, Sept. 11, Omaha, Neb.

R. Michael Gros and David Ollington presented "Staging Together: Director/Choreographer Collaboration on Non-Musical Work," Association for Theatre in Higher Education national conference, New York City.

INTERIOR ARCHITECTURE AND PRODUCT DESIGN
Steve Davidson was invited to be a juror at the 2009 BraunPrize Forum, an internationally renowned design competition for young industrial designers, Kronberg, Germany.

 

LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE/REGIONAL AND COMMUNITY PLANNING
Melanie Klein received an honorable mention from the U.S. Green Building Council’s Excellence in Green Building Education Awards Program for contributions made by her seminar course in 2007 to Greensburg, Kan.

Lee R. Skabelund presented "Interweaving Ecosystem Restoration and Ecological Design," at the 2009 annual meeting of the American Society of Landscape Architects, Sept. 18-21, Chicago, Ill.

 

MULTIPLE DEPARTMENTS
Michael McGlynn, architecture; Blake Belanger and Jon Hunt, landscape architecture/regional and community planning; exhibited photography in a juried exhibition at the Manhattan Arts Center from Sept. 12-Oct. 24. McGlynn was also awarded a third prize.
