ADAPTIVE LEADERSHIP TO BE FOCUS OF 14TH ANNUAL LEADERSHIP SEMINAR MARCH 24

How to mobilize people to take on challenges and triumph in tough times will be the focus of the 14th annual K-State Leadership Seminar Wednesday, March 24.

The seminar, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the K-State Student Union, will explore what is called adaptive leadership. Adaptive leadership is about being able -- both individually and collectively -- to take on the gradual but meaningful process of adaptation.

Keynote speakers for the seminar are Kristin von Donop, principal with Cambridge Leadership Associates; Peter Cohen, dean and professor in the College of Health Professions, Wichita State University; and Ed O'Malley, president and CEO of the Kansas Leadership Center.

K-State President Kirk Schulz also will address participants at the luncheon, with K-State's Provost and Senior Vice President April Mason opening the seminar.

More information is available at http://www.k-state.edu/leadershipseminar

The registration fee is $85 and includes lunch. The deadline to register is Friday, March 12. Early registration is encouraged.
