To print out the McNair application, you need a recent version of Adobe Reader. 

Most computers will already have it installed.  If yours doesn't, you can download it for free:

Because we need your signature, it is NOT possible to SUBMIT the application online. 

You can, however, type your information into the form before you print it out. 

Also be sure to submit all necessary transcripts and a 1-2 page personal statement describing your interest in the McNair Program, graduate education, and your proposed area of study.

Finally, don't forget to have 2 people familiar with your academic performance submit reference forms.  We suggest that at least one be a K-State professor with a Ph.D. from whom you have taken a class.  Part of the recommendation form must be filled out by you, the prospective scholar.

Type your information into the forms, print and sign them, and give them to your recommenders, who should send them to us via campus mail or the U.S. Postal Service at:
