To fill out the McNair application online, you need a recent version of Adobe Acrobat Reader.  Most computers will already have it installed.  If yours doesn't, you can download it for free:

Because we need your signature, it is NOT possible to SUBMIT the application online. 

However . . . you may type your answers into Adobe Acrobat, print the form (with your answers included), check to make sure all the information is provided (some questions involve circling, which can't be done on the computer), and either mail it or drop it by our office (201 Holton Hall).

Also be sure to submit all necessary transcripts and a 1-2 page personal statement describing your interest in the McNair Program, graduate education, and your proposed area of study.

Finally, don't forget to have 2 faculty members submit reference forms.  Part of the form must be filled out by you, the prospective scholar, but you may do so online.  After filling in the scholar info, print out the forms, sign them, and give them to your recommenders, who should send them to us via campus mail or the U.S. Postal Service at:
