Research Opportunities

    One of the strengths of the KSU MCDB program is the diversity of research opportunities we offer, encompassing a wide scope of cell and molecular biology research.  The faculty members of the MCDB program have specializations in developmental biology, genetics, plant biology, immunology, microbiology and virology as well as basic cell and molecular biology.  MCDB students are conducting studies in apoptosis, cell structure, cell polarity, cell adhesion and motility, development and differentiation, membrane dynamics, microbial pathogenesis, signal transduction, and more.  Further details regarding specific research projects may be found on the faculty pages.
