Driving Directions



From the east, traveling west on Interstate 70

1. Follow I-70 west from Kansas City. This becomes the Kansas Turnpike, a toll road.
2. Exit I-70 at the first Topeka, KS exit.
3. Follow I-70 west to exit #313, which is Kansas 177.
4. Cross the Kansas River bridge taking a right hand exit ramp before getting to the end of the bridge. This will take you to a stop light on Ft. Riley Blvd.
5. Take a left-hand turn onto Ft. Riley, which will turn into Tuttle Creek Blvd at the next stop. Continue on Tuttle Creek Blvd and go to the third stop light at Bluemont Avenue.
6. Turn left onto Bluemont Avenue. Continue going west on Bluemont, which will turn into Anderson Avenue at the intersection with Manhattan Avenue (about 11 blocks).
7. Cross Manhattan Avenue, continuing on Anderson Avenue until the 3rd light- a walk light between 15th and 17th Streets (Mid-Campus Drive).
8. Turn right onto campus, (Mid-Campus Drive) follow the street past Calvin Hall (on the right), the K-State Union (on the left), Fairchild Hall (on the right) and Anderson Hall (on the left).
9. After the head-in parking spaces at Fairchild Hall you will see McCain Auditorium to your right.

From the west, traveling east on Interstate 70

1. Follow I-70 east to exit #303, Kansas Highway 18.
2. Follow K-18, which becomes Fort Riley Blvd., to 17th Street
3. Turn left on 17th Street, following it north to Anderson Avenue, (Ramada Plaza Hotel will be on your right).
4. Turn right on Anderson Avenue, go _ block to walk light.
5. Turn left on Mid-Campus Drive, follow the street past Calvin Hall (on the right), the K-State Union (on the left), Fairchild Hall (on the right) and Anderson Hall (on the left).
6. After the head-in parking spaces at Fairchild Hall, you will see McCain to your right.
