History
Bushnell Hall was completed in 1949 and is occupied by offices and research labs
for the Division of Biology. This building was named in honor of Dr. Leland D.
Bushnell, a very popular Head of the Department of Bacteriology who joined the
college faculty in 1908. He was authorized to be Head of the Department of
Bacteriology in 1912.
