Interested in being part of a K-State community? Not sure what KS-LSAMP is? Join us during the first event of the semester to learn more about KS-LSAMP and how it can benefit you. We will also have a guest speaker from the K-State Career Center to talk about available resources through their office and the upcoming All-University Career Fair. We hope to see you there!

Interested in sharing your STEM/K-State experience with others? KS-LSAMP is hosting an event for potential transfer students and we need your help! Opportunities to guide a scavenger hunt team, attend dinner or social event and interact with students are available. This is a chance to share your experiences with other students.

Enhancing Career Success Through Networking

A panel of speakers will be discussing how to succeed in industry through the formation of effective networks. This event is hosted by BioKansas and the K-State College of Arts and Sciences. Space is limited, $10 fee to attend. RSVP required: biokansas.org/event/WISManhattan18

Words of Wisdom from K-State Alumni - The path to graduate school
October 17, 2018
12:00 – 1:00 pm
K-State Student Union, Konza Room

Attend this event to hear from a recent K-State graduate. Mark graduated from K-State in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. He briefly worked with the City of Manhattan at the wastewater treatment plant as a plant operator before he began pursuing his Master’s degree in Civil Engineering at K-State. Come and hear from Mark regarding his success at K-State and the graduate school process.

Medical School Applications 101

Are you planning to apply to medical school in the near future? Do you know what documents you will need? Do you have an idea of how long it will take to complete the application? If not, that’s okay. Attend this event to hear from one of our KS-LSAMP GOLD Scholars on their experience going through the process.
