A new year – a time of beginning. And while beginning typically has one looking forward, new beginnings also provide rich opportunity for reflection. We've been doing quite a bit of both recently!
We invite you to stay connected with Leadership Studies! Join us for our first ever webinar for alumni and friends, local get-togethers in your area, and our signature alumni and friends event Spirit of Leadership. We also welcomed Becky (Sullivan) Fouard back to campus for the Leadership Alumni Speaker Series and were honored to recognize Nabeeha Kazi Hutchins as our 2013 Leader-in-Residence.
Learn about our students' work within the classroom as we shine a spotlight on three of our courses: LEAD 350: Culture and Context partners with K-State’s English Language Program; LEAD 420: Theories of Nonprofit Leadership students showcase their creation of theoretical nonprofit organizations; and LEAD 450: Senior Seminar in Leadership students participate in the semiannual Senior Seminar case competition.
Leadership Studies students and faculty traveled to Montreal, Canada, this past fall to participate in the International Leadership Association Global Conference, including our graduate team that took first place in their case competition! Leadership Studies also partnered with the Olathe School District to create and co-host the inaugural 21st Century Ethics Conference.

Service-learning continues to be a cornerstone of teaching and learning within Leadership Studies. Learn more about our partnership to establish and deliver the annual Service-Learning Institute, as well as the impact of service-learning in classrooms across campus and throughout the community.

Meet K-State's inaugural vice provost for undergraduate studies. Since beginning in August 2012, Dr. Dandaneau has strived to support K-State undergraduates in their pursuit of academic achievement and serves as a champion for Leadership Studies.
