What you are up to now (school, work, etc)? I work for the Nerland Agency as a Production Manager.
The Nerland Agency is Alaska's largest advertising firm and represents clients in
Alaska and the Pacific Northwest.
Where do you live? Anchorage, Alaska
Favorite memory from the School of Leadership Studies? Attending any of Todd's classes.
What you are looking forward to the most from this organization? Living in Alaska, you find yourself disconnected from all the wonderful achievements going on at K-State. I'm looking to connect back with K-State and the Leadership Studies school. I hope to get the word out about what Leadership Studies is doing both in the classroom and alumni too. During school, I worked for the Alumni Association and this organization does a wonderful job across the platform of telling amazing stories about K-State. Hopefully we can connect with this group to make our communications strategy stronger.
What expectations do you have in regards to the alumni advisory committee (AAC)? Create a strategic communications plan targeted to all LS alumni. Raise financial support for LS students. Invite current LS alumni to start social interactions with LS students.
Anything else you would like to share: This weekend, a group of friends and I cross country skied on top of a frozen lake and cross over a glacier. As the saying goes - "only in Alaska" if anyone wants to come and visit let me know!
