Year you graduated from K-State: 2011

Major/Minor(s): Business Administration-Marketing Leadership Studies- Focus in Nonprofit Leadership

What you are up to now (school, work, etc)? I currently work at the American Cancer Society in Kansas City. I am a Community Manager in the Income Development department. I work with six communities in Kansas and Missouri, and oversee volunteer committees to help coordinate and plan Relay For Life events.

Where do you live? At home while I pay off my loans and save up for my own house!

Favorite memory from the School of Leadership Studies? Having the opportunity to learn leadership skills through hands on experience. I enjoyed being a part of student groups, committees, and an employee at HandsOn Kansas State. These experiences helped me prepare for the real world, make an impact, and meet lots of amazing people!

What you are looking forward to the most from this organization? Staying connected to Leadership Studies students, alumni, and employees! is over 15 years old and has a large pool of alumni to work with.

What expectations do you have in regards to the alumni advisory committee (AAC)? I hope to create a stronger network for alumni and the current students. As a recent graduate I would love to interact with current students, and show them how helpful the School of Leadership Studies minor is after college.
