What you are up to now (school, work, etc)? Working at the School of Leadership Studies. In a Master's program at K-State: College Student Development.
Where do you live? Manhattan, KS
Favorite memory from the School of Leadership Studies? Being an Academy Coach for the First Tee. We were all tired and stressed and at times the event was not running so smoothly. We all did the best adapting to the situation and having fun while we did it. We ended up with a new lobster language and our favorite saying started by Todd Wells, "Oh well."
What you are looking forward to the most from this organization? I am looking forward to connecting alumni back to the feeling they had when being around Leadership Studies in college. I am so lucky to get to work at SLS every day, and I know many people miss being in this environment. I also want to provide the opportunity for people to continue to learn new leadership theories.
What expectations do you have in regards to the alumni advisory committee (AAC)? I do not have any particular expectations for AAC. The only thing I expect is that all of our great ideas on how to connect as a group of alumni will come directly from the alumni. I look forward to seeing what that looks like over the next few years.
