Year you graduated from K-State: 2005

Major/Minor(s): Political Science (Major), Leadership Studies & History (Minors)

What you are up to now (school, work, etc)? I am currently a Program Analyst for the Department of Defense

Where do you live? Arlington, Virginia (Washington, DC)

Favorite memory from the School of Leadership Studies? My favorite memory of leadership studies was during either my junior or senior year in which the Leadership Ambassadors created a PLINKO board (sort of like the Price is Right) for the K-State Open House which was a big hit during the entire event.

What you are looking forward to the most from this organization? I’m looking forward to getting this organization off the ground and healthy enough to both contribute back to LSP and to contribute to the university. Also, I would like to ensure that there is better outreach to LSP alumni, especially as the LSP program is over 15 years old and has a large pool of alumni to work with.

What expectations do you have in regards to the alumni advisory committee (AAC)? I don’t necessarily have any great initial expectations other than I hope the group remains connected and has regularly scheduled “meetings” to keep in contact. For our first “meeting” I would be interested in brainstorming initial steps, mission statements, goals, etc. for the first year.

Anything else you would like to share: Very excited to get started! I recognize some of the names on the list, but there are many names I don’t recognize, so I am also excited to meet everyone.
