Responsibilities of students in AmeriCorps at K-State
- Attend new member orientation in the fall (some of which are online)
- Complete enrollment and application materials
- Make connection with a placement location (on own or in coordination with the help of Career for the Common Good Campus Coordinator)
- Complete 300 hours of service to one or more qualifying organizations focusing on education, allied health, or community strengthening between August 1-July 31
- Complete hours log and reflection bi-weekly
- Complete hours log and submit electronically once per month
- Complete exit materials at the end of service, to include exit survey
