Special Events

At the School of Leadership Studies, we take time each year to celebrate the work of our faculty, students, alumni and community partners. These opportunities allow us to share our story and connect with those committed to the mission of the School. Read more about our special events below!

Grad Reception Spirit

Each May, as the School year draws to a close, we take time to celebrate those graduating from the School of Leadership Studies. Students who have received the Leadership Studies Minor as well as those who have participated in our programs are invited along with family and friends to a reception. This is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate students both in their time at the School of Leadership Studies as well as their send-off into the next step!

Each fall, we invite alumni and friends to spend an evening celebrating what makes the School of Leadership Studies so special. An evening to honor those that helped us get to where we are today, each year is an opportunity to reflect as well as celebrate the new ideas that are helping us grow!

CSL JrC

Each Spring, the School of Leadership Studies recognizes outstanding students, campus and community partners at the annual Celebrating Service and Leadership Event. This event honors those that have demonstrated exceptional service, leadership and civic engagement at K-State, in the Manhattan community, and beyond.

A three-day, in-residence leadership development experience for K-State faculty and professional staff. Participants have the opportunity to engage in a focused and in-depth adult learning experience aimed at leadership development. They're offered knowledge and skill-based learning modules that engage them cognitively as well as behaviorally.
